"I wrote this book because a good virtual assistant can change an entrepreneur's life. I am out to help supercharge 5,000 businesses in the next year, and using a virtual assistant is key to that effort," said Tony Signorelli, the author. "I just want to help entrepreneurs succeed. Let's make your business one of those 5,000."
The first part of this book is a quick read at about 6,000 words. Part 2 is another 6,000 words with the tips and tricks Tony shares here. You will be very glad you read it.

This book specifically addresses how to be effective with your VA. Anybody can hire one, but can you get the bang for your buck? It sounds like the author has learned through trial and error how to utilize a VA so that he can focus on business growth and generating income. I am considering getting a VA so this helps me know how to prepare in advance and save money out of the gate. Also lots of links to other resources available. Now this book does touch on how to hire one and has some links, but it's strength is in how to USE one, which is more important in the long run. He says it is different than an admin at a corporation, which I didn't realize.Product details

Clear and concise. Very useful for the novice who doesn't know what they need to know. Good value. A keeper.
I really liked this book, because it was short and concise, with exactly what I need to know about hiring a virtual assistant. I don't need a 200 page book. My time is valuable to me, and I just wanted to know what I didn't know. This book gave me exactly what I was looking for.
I have been contemplating hiring a VA for some time now. This brief but very informative e-book gave me a better understanding of the process. This is a short, sweet, and practical guide for understanding and managing virtual support relationships. Tony frames this new type of knowledge work in the context of building honest, trusting and respectful relationships.
Of the many key insights, two jumped out. First, know the prep work you have to do. For example you need to know what tasks count and what tasks don't. Once you get rid of those things that no one needs to be doing, delegate the "critical but time consuming details you do not need to be doing yourself."
Second, be clear and don't assume anything. Setup a work flow process that includes frequent checkpoints to make sure you're both on track and there is no miscommunication. Even a few hours of redoing work is costly.
How to Delegate to Virtual Assistants is a great primer. You'll also want to check out the links Tony has included for more information.
